INJECTING ALUMINUM

Apparently, aluminum gels or aluminum salts are vaccine ingredients that have been used in vaccines since the 1930; the aluminum gives the body a stronger immunity against whatever the germ the patient is getting vaccinated.

Director Marie-Ange Poyet's latest video discusses the efforts to prod pharmaceutical companies to remove the aluminum adjuvants from the vaccines for the good of public health. The film documents through a series of talking heads the irony of a vaccine for one disease being the cause of a new disease called macrophagic myofasciitis (MMF).

There is thorough discussion about how the adjuvants are being linked to the onset and worsening of diseases including Parkinson's and Alzheimer's as well as several autoimmune issues.

The French National Health doesn't recognize the disease as a health issue causing hundreds of patients and the MMF has (with few exceptions) only been observed in France. Aluminum is present in U.S. childhood vaccines that prevent hepatitis A, hepatitis B, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, Tdap), Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), human papillomavirus (HPV) and pneumococcus infection; vaccines against measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox, rotavirus, polio, and seasonal influenza vaccines do not contain added adjuvants.

However, French victims and health scientists in France face the same struggle against the heavy hand of big pharma in France. Big pharma in France has a great deal of control over politicians attached to health legislation.

The talking heads include Dr. Romain Gherardi, Dr. Jerome Authier, Professor Christopher Exley, Michèle Rivasi (Member of European Parliament), journalist Stephane Foucart and several patients of MMF.

The 90-minute film is, for someone not completely concerned with French health issues and drug rules, an exercise in tedium, especially since it has little to no bearing on American health concerns.

"Injecting Aluminum" is the poster child for US Food and Drug Administration's arduous drug approval policy, which leads to the high cost of drugs in the United States - just look at what's happening in France.   -- GEOFF BURTON
